Ah, The Good Old Times.

Now the music that I've been listening to for the past fews months have been shifted towards the jazz category. Now maybe the months before of listening to non stop Amy Winehouse had some effect on my musical genre of the moment but I'm sort of glad it turned out that way.The reason is because most the people my age these days usually listen to some wannabe rapper or rocker that will definately be gone by the end of the month I have decided to listen to the sweet sounds of Dinha Washington, Ella Fitzgerald, and Etta James and even though they don't have artist like these anymore we should treasure the ones we had, and so thats why I have chosen these great artist to be on my music list at the moment.

It's about Time!

Okay I've just gotten news about Jenifer Lopez being pregnant. Now it's nice to see that she might finally be pregnant but with the photos I've seen there is no question on whether the fact she is pregnant or not. Another thing to add to that is that she might be expecting twins and I bet that God was just making up for all the years she lost while focusing on her career, but now that she's cooled off I think that if she was expecting she did it in good timing.

Gossip Never Gets Old

Okay, I'm not sure if y sister and I are alone on this but there's this new show called Gossip Girl and we are slowly but surly turning into addicts on our first episode. For those that need some detail of it, it's practically a more stylish sophisticated ,grittier ,edgier, and perhaps an even more sexier version of the more unrealistic and very tired show The O.C. The main character Serena is practically like the troubled popular girl that every one wants to be around, Blair is or was the best friend of Serena until Serena slept with her boyfriend and you'll just have to tune inon Tuesday nights to know the rest of the dirt.

Well now that school is officially undergo it's sad to see how fast the summer went.For those who did not know(which was practically all of you) I went to Europe this summer and I would have to say it was one of the best things I have been able to do in my young life. I started out in London (to be more specific Hackney, Stokwell, and Lakeside), then headed off to Holland (Tilburg), then to Paris, then back again to London. And the surprising thing about the trip was that Holland seemed to be better for me when it came to shopping,after that was London, then Paris.Put for the scenery I would have to say Paris is number one because of the beautiful structure of the buildings and statues they had,and when it came to transportation London is my favorite because one their buses will racticall take you anywhere you wanna go. Oh and my over stay in Europe was about 2 months so if you ever get a chance to travel I deeply consider that you seize the oppportunity and just go you will hopefully not regret the experience.

I don't know if any of you guys have heard but one of my all time fave singers Amy Winehouse just got married May 18 to be exact. Who's the lucky guy?, well it's her on again off again boyfriend/fiance Blake Fielder-Civil. Now I'm happy for her and all but I just don't think that you should end up marrying the guy that you wrote certain songs about because there was a reason for you guys falling out in the first place. And also I heard that Amy did not want a prenup which I think will bite her in the you know what further down the line when he takes half of her money.Oh Amy Amy Amy when will you learn, at least he gave you the thought process for a few great songs.

Its cool in the ARCTIC

Hi I just wanted to say that Ive been listening to the new Arctic Monkeys album and in my opinon I think that this album is actually better than thier first album which was OK I guess (there were some catchy songs but not good enough) . The thing is that on this album they seem to be more grown when talking about instuments and the way that its played but their lyrics still seem to have the same tone to their music. But the tracks on this album I think you should look forward to would be Brainstorm, 505, Flourescent Adolescent, and Old Yellow Bricks.

Oh Man!!!!!!!!!!(AGAIN)

Yeah sorry that Ive been away for a while but for those of you that have been watching that Fashion File Host Hunt show I was so happy that Adrian Mainellawon instead of Mary Kitchen.
Even though she is pretty,that was just about it SHE WAS PRETTY. I felt that the judges made a good choice by chosing Adrian because even though he had an easier task at the New Yirk Fashion Week than Mary he was able to get spectacular Besty Johnson to sway on over to his side when talking about personality. Also he was able to clown around with the boys from Heartherett while still keeping his cool. But for Mary I will say that she did work her but off when on the carpet trying to get the celebs to talk.I mean she even got Britney Spears to say something (wasn't much ,but she said something), and she also got Kimora Lee Simmons to do an almost perfect introduction for a segment on fashion file. So for all the contenders that in the end failed to succed, I hope you find what your looking for and for Adrian you better know how lucky you are because maybe in ten years I'll be biding for your gig.

WE MEET CHIC

My oh my, it seems like fashion icons like Kate Moss, Stella McCarthy, and Madonna have desided to help us less fortunate in the money department get a ideal of what they like to dress up in. The line that I am really looking forward to viewing is the up and coming line that Kate Moss will be doing for TopShop (an affordable british store). For those in Austrailia who are Stella obsessed they were fortunate enough to get their hands on some of the iteams that she decided to create for Target and from what I heard they sold out fast in the mist of cuts and buses for about anything Stella. There were eben some reports about the poor maniquins were ripped to shreads. And for the "M" Line at H&M I've viewed it and lets just say that the only thing I've got my eye on would be a glittered whit and gold mini dress but for the rest... it just seems to mature for me but hay it the material girl in an sophisticated material world.

It's official Jennifer Hudson will be on the cover of the March 2007 issue of Vogue but the big thing about it is that she is the third black woman to grace the cover after Oprah and Halle Berry so congrats on the big gig and let's hope your luck holds up during the oscars.

Hello I have found a great new band just waiting to make it big and their name is Cajun Dance Party and they have have a sound that sort of (how can I say this?) "bratty charm".
With songs like The Next Untouchables, Time Falls, Colourful Life, and Fireworks they should be one of the artist to watch for 2007. Check them out on myspace.

Hello it's Beckers and I have a band by the name of Bloc Party that you must check out. There about to release there second album "A Weekend In The City" which is the brilliant follow up to their critical acclaim first album "Silent Alarm". Some of their stand out tracks from their first album would be Banquet,This Modern Love,Plan,Pioneers,Like Eating Glass, just to name a few. And for there second album (out on Feb.6.07) I would suggest listening to Hunting For Whitches,Songs For Clay,On,The Prayer,I Still Remember, and Sunday. So keep a look out for these lads from across the pond as they keep Brit Rock alive.

Hellow kitties I have come up with new segments for the blog and it's called DIY, Artist,Up N Commer and Newsmaker of the month and since were practically at the end of January here are the first on the list of many entries.

DIY of the month :Fox Scarf (now this ins't an original idea,but it is a cheaper one)

Fabric: Practically old blankets that you are not using anymore.
Yarn: The colours don't really have to go together it's your decision.
Buttons: I would prefer that you use two bright colours so it stands out.

Instuctions: If using fleece I would prefer that you put double before you put the pattern(but if material is thick do not do) but you should still do the pinning at the edge so it looks
nicer. Draw the pattern of the fox on light coloured paper so it's easy to see.Then
after that leave the pins on while sewing so everything stays in place. Now after
that it's up to you to figure which type of stiching you would prefer but you must
stitch every edge of the scarf.After that all you really have to do is sew on the
buttons and the head to the body then your set.

Hello people of the modern world, as we reach the middle of January I will now help the people with a very serious illness calld badstylenza. With my picks for some of the best trends of earlt 2007 this might help cure or at least hide you horrible illness of bad sense of fashion.

1. Bright Colours
They make any dull out-fit stand out y trying to add a few bright pieces in colours like red, yellow,green, ect.

2. Modern Native
Try to add ethnic pieces like a bracelet or bag to add a little bit of a worldly look to your woredrobe and also think of addind a bit of drama to your silhouettes when picking out a look inspired by this ttrend.

3.Neutrals
Practically any thing neutral will work on you this year because it's the new black so pair it up with a crazy pattern to calm your look while still giving you a unique look.

4.Second Skin
Tight fitting close are saddly in for those that don't have the figur for it.But if you're not the type to parade in that type outfit than look for wide,baggy trousers (they are a shoe in this year and so are skinny jeans).

5.Layers
Look for light and loose pieces to layer this year and try to also put funky patterns with neutrals so you don't look like a crakhead.

6.Sporty
For those of you out there that are tom-boys, your in luck.The sporty-chic look is in.Just pair a the top from your sweats with a skinny jean,funky accesories,and cool runners and your set.
